Leah Flannigan grew up in the quirkiest corner of Arizona, in a small town called Bisbee... and it shows. Dabbling in many mediums like drawing, video art, watercolor, creative writing, collage and feng shui, Leah has always been submerged in a pool of creativity. Graphic Design was a way to incorporate all of her artistic loves, and even the organizational teachings of feng shui, into one nice little package.
Leah received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, with an emphasis on Digital Arts in 2013. Knowing the basics and feeling comfortable with her skills, she then took some time off of her schooling to work at Walt Disney World, where she learned the importance of people skills, good service, and the glamour of being the daughter of monarchy.
After a semester in Orlando, Leah moved back to Arizona to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art at the University of Arizona, majoring in the prestigious Visual Communications program with an emphasis on Graphic Design (a program which only accepts 20 students per school year). She graduated cum laude from the program in Spring of 2016.
Days before graduating, Leah obtained her first "real" job at Merit Foods of Arizona as the Creative and Marketing Director. She hit the ground running in the workforce and was fully in charge of: Event Planning the annual Customer Appreciation Food Show, creating monthly specials and food flyers, participating in booths and Food Show setup, creating the yearly calendar, creating the annual Marketing Plan, obtaining commitments and following up with food vendors, creating all brochures, maintain website upkeep, and (of course) creating content for all social media outlets.
Leah's dream has always been to move to Austin, Texas with her cats and Macbook--in hopes to find a job that can fully utilize her talents and knowledge of design, food, creativity and resourcefulness.
As of September 2017, she is finally living her dream in Austin and is ready to find the space where her talents meet her passions.
